The Brazil is a variegated heartleaf philodendron. Like its non-variegated cousin, it's very low maintenance. The lovely foliage varies between shades of green. Its appearance is both subtle due to its monochromatic colours yet bold as the differentiating tones come together and create unique patterns on its leaves. This plant looks fantastic when cascading off off a tall shelf. Another bonus is that it's super easy to propagate!
CARE:
- Allow the first 1/3-1/2 of soil to dry in between watering.
- Droopy leaves are another indicator that they need a good drink.
- Flexible with the light requirement- shade-tolerant but typically does best with medium- bright indirect light. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun. The leaves will burn.
