Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variegata is a small, globular cactus known for its eye-catching colours.
CARE:
- This plant does best with consistent bright, indirect sunlight. A few hours of direct sun is beneficial, but be careful with direct sunlight during the hottest part of the day in our summer months, as it can scorch the delicate variegated tissues.
- Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, then thoroughly drink-bottom watering is recommended.
- Avoid overwatering and ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogged soil, which can quickly lead to root rot.
-
Avoid using heavy potting soils or soils that retain too much moisture, so opt for a well-draining, gritty potting media.
Please note that every plant is unique, and that type/degree of variegation will vary amongst each individual plant
