This plant is an excellent low-light option. The peace lily has deep green leaves and attractive flowers...that, interestingly enough, are not actual flowers. The white portion is a "bract." This is a hood that grows over the flowers. The actual flowers are the spikey-textured cylindrical part of the plant. Please note that the peace lily is a tad on the dramatic side. It can appear wilted on the verge of death. Give it a good drink at this point, and it will bounce right back.
CARE:
- Does well in most light conditions except for direct sun mid-day as this can wilt and burn the leaves
- It does well in medium-low light, but bright indirect light is needed if you desire an abundance of flowers
- Allow the first few inches of soil to dry between watering
- Appreciates humidity
Decorative pot is sold separately
