This epiphytic species is the underrated distant cousin of hoyas. The care requirements are very similar to their relatives. Increased exposure to light results in the red/copper hue (seen in photos). Otherwise, this plant is green.
CARE:
- Due to its epiphytic nature, these appreciate being root-bound, so you may not need to repot for several years
- Allow soil to nearly dry out (about 80 percent) before watering
- Does well with consistent bright indirect light and benefits from a few hours of direct sun daily
- Blooms can develop if provided a desirable environment.
