"Prayer plants" receives its name from their leaves folded together at night, resembling a pair of praying hands. This particular maranta gets its quirky name because of the pattern on its foliage. It resembles the tracks of a rabbit. This variegated version is especially charming.
CARE:
- Low-dappled light is best in the summer months
- Excessive light starts to fade the foliage
- During the cooler months, medium-bright indirect light is fine
- Moderately humidity is appreciated
- Keep soil slightly moist but not soaked (water when the 1-2 inches of soil is dry)
