Alluaudia procera is also commonly referred to as the Madagascar ocotillo tree. This plant is considered to be a succulent shrub or small tree.  It features slender, upright stems with a sparse branching pattern and small, scale-like leaves. The stems are adorned with thorns or spines, and the plant produces inconspicuous yellow flowers. 

CARE:

• Thrive in consistent bright, indirect light indoors
• Allow the soil to nearly dry between waterings, and then water thoroughly
• Prune as needed to maintain its desired shape and size. Remove any dead, damaged, or leggy growth to encourage healthy growth and a neat appearance.
