Curly Lipstick Plant (Aeschynanthus ) 4.5” pot

 As a trailing plant, the Lipstick Plant creates a lush, cascading display that adds beauty to any indoor space. The slender spiral stems allow this variety of Lipstick Plant to cascade gracefully from suspended planters or off a corner of an elevated shelf. 

CARE:

• Water when the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the soil is dry during the growing season (spring/summer)
• During the colder months, you can allow the first 1/2 of the soil to dry before water- it's crucial not to maintain soggy soil as this can quickly lead to rot.
• Appreciates moderate humidity
• It does best with bright, indirect light and benefits from a few hours of morning or evening sun, but prolonged exposure to intense afternoon sun can scorch and wilt the leaves.
• Keep away from drafty windows.
• Can tolerant periods of lower light, but consistent light is needed for "lipstick" blooms to occur
• Pruning is not essential, but trimming broken, scraggly, or old stems can improve the plant's overall appearance and potentially lead to a fuller, leafier plant.
