Euphorbia “Medusa’s Head” (Flanaganii) 4” pot

The Euphorbia flanaganii's unusual form makes it a standout in any collection. This succulent is named for its resemblance to the mythical Medusa's snake-like hair. The plant exhibits a sprawling growth habit with numerous long, thin, and segmented arms (or branches) radiating outward from a central, rounded stem. This growth pattern gives the plant its "Medusa Head" appearance. The central stem is often swollen and acts as a storage organ for water and nutrients. It stays relatively small, while the "arms" can grow up to a foot long. 

CARE:

• This plant does best with consistent bright, indirect sunlight. A few hours of MORNING sun is beneficial, but avoid prolonged exposure to direct afternoon sunlight during peak summer months, which can scorch its leaves.
• Allow the soil to dry out  between waterings, then give the plant a thorough drink
• Ensure that the soil does not stay soggy, and ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogged soil, which can quickly lead to root rot.
• Avoid using heavy potting soils or soils that retain too much moisture, so opt for a well-draining, gritty potting media. 
• This plant does well in drier environments.
