The Eyelash Fern (Actiniopteris australis) is a unique, delicate fern with fine, fan-shaped fronds that resemble eyelashes. It has a compact, bushy growth habit.
CARE:
- Prefers bright, indirect light. It can benefit from some direct morning sun, but harsh afternoon rays may scorch the leaves.
- Does best in a high-humidity setting. The leaves may dry out or brown at the edges if humidity is too low. Its compact shape makes it perfect for terrariums.
- Avoid exposing the plant to drafts as it is sensitive to cold.
- Water when the first 1-2 inches of soil is dry to maintain slightly moist but not soggy soil.
