Mistletoe Fig (Ficus deltoidea) 4” pot

The Mistletoe Fig is a unique and compact species of Ficus The foliage is thick and glossy, usually rounded or triangular-shaped. The plant produces tiny inedible fruits (resembling miniature figs) directly on the stems or leaf nodes. The fruits are generally orange to red, giving the plant a whimsical touch.

CARE:

• Does best with consistent bright, indirect light, but it can tolerate some direct morning or late afternoon sun. Too much direct sun may scorch the leaves, while too little light will slow growth.
• The plant requires a lot more moisture when it is young, so water when the first 1/4-1/3 of the soil is dry. As it matures it will become more drought-tolerant.
• Moderate humidity is best.
• Can be prone to acclimatization shock if there’s a sudden change in its environment. It's best to keep it in a warm, consistent environment and avoid abrupt temperature shifts to cold drafts or intense heat, which can stress the plant.
