This Philodendron showcases glossy leaves with green, yellow, and cream segments- a stunning contrast. This young Florida Beauty tends to have a more compact and upright growth habit. As it matures, it gradually develops its climbing or trailing tendencies. As the plant grows, elongated leaves with deeply cut lobes create an intricate and attractive silhouette. At this point, it is best to aid verticle growth with a pole or trellis. This setup is recommended to keep the plant contained, showcase its gorgeous foliage, and mitigate incidents of broken stems if left trailing.
CARE:
It does best in CONSISTENT bright, indirect light. especially necessary to maintain its variegation.
A few hours of morning sun can be beneficial, but avoid exposure to direct light in the afternoons (foliage will scorch)
Does well in moderate-high humidity
Water when the first 1/3 of soil is dry -this plant hates wet feet.
Ensure a well-draining soil ( a chunky mix is recommended)
