Thrives with consistent bright, indirect light and a few hours of direct sunlight. Light is a must for this plant and encourages compact growth and stronger stems.

Allow the soil to dry out about 80 percent before watering- to water, thoroughly saturate the soil.
Pruning is unnecessary for plant health; however, with its rigid structure, you will inevitably develop leggy or broken stems. In this situation, you can trim to promote a more compact and bushy appearance. If these stems are not brittle, you can use them to grow new plants! This plant can be propagated through stem cuttings.
